Terrance J. Hogan

CEO

Prior to accepting the role of CEO, Mr. Hogan has served as President since REAL ALLOY’s formation in February 2015. Prior to joining REAL ALLOY, Mr. Hogan worked for Aleris International from 2005 through 2015 in various management roles, most recently serving as Senior Vice President for recycling & specification alloys for North America. His background includes over 15 years with Alumitech, Inc., where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer for ten of those years. He holds a BSc degree in accounting from Alfred University.


 

Chris Garisek

Director of Treasury and FP&A

 

Mr. Garisek joined Aleris in 2008 as Senior Analyst for financial reporting. He served in a number of positions before being named Director of Risk and FP&A at REAL ALLOY upon Aleris’s divestiture of its global recycling and specification alloys business in February 2015. He has held his current position since September 2016. Prior to joining Aleris, he worked at KPMG LLC. He has a BA degree in accounting from Mercyhurst University.



ANDY JENNINGS

DIRECTOR OF HEALTH,
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL

Mr. Jennings joined REAL ALLOY in 2015 and has 25 years of experience in safety and environmental management. Prior to REAL ALLOY, Mr. Jennings held various corporate and regional positions within the metal, printing, specialty chemical, coating, and petrochemical industries. He is a certified safety professional and has a BSc degree in industrial and environmental health management from Ferris State University.


 

DR. DANIEL F. RANGEL

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
FOR REAL ALLOY NORTH AMERICA

Dr. Rangel previously occupied the same role for Aleris International, Inc., from 2011, as well as holding various manufacturing and engineering positions after joining the company in 2006. He has also worked for GE Plastics as a manufacturing black belt and as Global IT Leader for Lexan Finishing. He holds a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de América, Bogotá, and an MSc and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee.


GAYLORD W.
SEEMANN

VICE PRESIDENT OF
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/CIO

Before the formation of REAL ALLOY, Mr. Seemann was Vice President of IT and Global Recycling for Aleris International, Inc. Mr. Seemann has also held executive-level IT positions at HDT Global Inc., Eaton Corporation, and General Electric. He holds a degree in computer systems and production management from the University of Toledo, an MBA from Ball State University, and an MAR from Liberty University.


RAY WEAVER

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
FOR REAL ALLOY NORTH AMERICA

Mr. Weaver joined REAL ALLOY in 2010 (under the previous owner Aleris). He took on his current role in January 2014. Mr. Weaver held various HR roles with Shiloh Industries and the Gerstenslager Company before joining the organization. He holds a BSc degree in business management and marketing from Ashland University.


TONY WHITT

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
FOR REAL ALLOY NORTH AMERICA

Mr. Whitt joined REAL ALLOY in 2013 (under the previous owner Aleris). Prior to joining the leadership team, he was Plant Manager of the Wabash specification alloy plant. He spent over 14 years in operational leadership roles at Aleris, Lafarge, Coachman Industries, Calsonic Kansei, and Newell Rubbermaid and holds a BSc degree in accounting from the University of Detroit and an MBA from the University of Michigan.


CATHRYN D. GRIFFIN

VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL COUNSEL
& NON-METALS PROCUREMENT

Ms. Griffin has served in her current role of Vice President, General Counsel and NA Procurement since REAL ALLOY’s formation in February 2015. Prior to joining REAL ALLOY, Ms. Griffin worked for Aleris International, Inc., from 2005 through 2015, most recently serving as Vice President, Legal for the recycling and specification alloys business and non-metals procurement for North America.  Before joining Aleris, she was Vice President, Legal at KeyCorp and an associate at Thompson Hine. She holds a BA degree from Dartmouth College and a JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.


RANDY L. COLLINS

VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL
& SUPPLY CHAIN NORTH AMERICA

Mr. Collins has served in his current role since REAL ALLOY was formed after being sold by Aleris International, Inc., in February 2015. Prior to REAL ALLOY, Mr. Collins worked for Aleris International, Inc., from 2009-2015 as Vice President, Commercial for the Specification and Recycling business unit. He became part of the ownership team of Rock Creek Aluminum in 1994 which was eventually sold to IMCO Recycling where he served as General Manager. Mr. Collins started his career in dross processing with Combustion Engineering in 1983. He holds a BSc degree in accounting from the University of Dayton.


JEFF HARNDEN

CORPORATE CONTROLLER

Mr. Harnden joined REAL ALLOY in September 2015 as Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting before being appointed as Corporate Controller in September 2016. Prior to joining REAL ALLOY, Mr. Harnden was a Director in the deals practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), focusing on capital markets and accounting advisory aspects of transactions. He worked for 12 years at PwC in their Cleveland, Atlanta and Frankfurt (Germany) offices. Mr. Harnden holds a BA degree in accounting from The Ohio State University.

 

 


Russell Barr

Executive Vice President
and General Manager, Europe

Before joining REAL ALLOY’s leadership team in 2015, Mr. Barr served as Vice President at Aleris Recycling Europe for two years. Between 2010 and 2012, he was Vice President of Aleris Extrusions and also spent two years as their European Director of non-metal purchasing. Prior to this, he was Managing Director and joint owner of the automotive supplier Triplex Components and held various positions at De La Rue and the BMW/Rover Group. He has a BA honors degree in business studies from Oxford Brookes University and an engineering management diploma.


RALF KÖRING

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR, EUROPE

Mr. Köring joined REAL ALLOY in March 2015, after five years as Commercial Director of wrought alloys for Aleris Recycling Europe and Aleris Rolled Europe. Prior to this, he served as Commercial Manager of wrought alloys at Aleris Recycling (German works) GmbH from late 2008 until early 2010. Ralf also spent five years as Plant Manager at Aleris Recycling’s Grevenbroich plant and held various roles at VAW-IMCO between 1995 and 2004, including Production Manager and Operational Engineer. He has a degree in process engineering from RWTH Aachen University.


DR. WINFRIED HÄSER

MANAGER QUALITY / HSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, EUROPE

Dr. Häser was appointed REAL ALLOY’s Manager of HSE and Quality Management Systems, at the start of 2015, after holding the same position at Aleris Recycling (German works) GmbH for nearly three years. Between 2002 and 2012, he worked at Deutsche Post DHL in various capacities, including Vice President of external stakeholder dialogue and Vice President of Environmental Strategy and Policy. He also held an environmental leadership position at VAW AG for over six years. Dr. Häser received his doctor's degree from the University of Hannover.


DR. CLAUDIA SCHIFFER

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, EUROPE

Dr. Schiffer joined REAL ALLOY in 2016. She has 20 years of HR experience, accumulated across a variety of businesses and countries. Before joining the organization, she held various HR roles with an international remit within the automotive, finance and multiservice-provider industries. Dr. Schiffer holds an economics diploma and doctoral degree from the universities of Cologne and St. Gallen.


CHRISTOPH WILL

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE, EUROPE

Mr. Will has held the position of Director of Finance, Europe, since 2007. He previously worked as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Aleris Recycling and Specification Alloys Europe. Before joining Aleris in 2004, he worked for VAW AG and VAW Motor Group.


UWE WÜLBERS

Director of Technology
& Operations, Europe

Mr. Wülbers has been Director of Technology & Operations at REAL ALLOY Europe since June 2015. He has many years of international management experience in the automotive and subcontractor industries with companies such as Daimler-Benz, Continental and Federal-Mogul. Mr. Wülbers experience spans a wide range of fields, including R&D, engineering, controlling and procurement. He began his career as a production engineer with Mercedes-Benz AG after studying mechanical engineering in Bremen.
